Important to Understand:

  • CCIM Encourages & Equips Pastors in the majority world. We are not a Bible School.
  • Certificates and Diplomas are awarded internally from within Capturing Courage Int’l Ministries.
  • The Bachelor of Professional Studies is an externally awarded and recognized (not accredited) professional (not academic) degree from GULL, Global University of Lifelong Learning. See More about GULL, Here
  • GULL states that DEGREE requirements MUST be submitted as participant studies each Module.  You may not work ahead and go back at a later date to complete the additional submissions in Column B.  
  • Please decide before starting the course if you wish to pursue the DEGREE as submissions must correspond to the actual dates you are studying the course.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMA, & DEGREE:

(*1). Personal Learning Review:  For Module Certificates. At the end of each Module. Self reflection at the completion of each Module. One-page hand-written report, reviewing your learning engagement with each month’s content.  Expanded Instructions HERE

(*2). Progress Review Exercise:  For Degree Program. Mid-way and End of each Module. 3 separate submissions completed by Self, Peers, & Facilitator at midway point and at end of each Module.  Facilitator Comments will be submitted following an interview with the participant regarding their Self and Peer Review Forms.  750 Words per form. (*3). Core Learning Outcomes Review:  For Course Diploma. End of Course. Self reflection of the 3 Modules in the context of College of Capturing Courage’s 15 Core Learning Outcomes with one page review for each of the core outcomes. Expanded Instructions HERE

(*4). Facilitator Recommendations:  For Diploma and Degree Program. Mid-way & End of Modules & After Diploma.  Submitted by the facilitator (of the course) following an interview with the participant regarding their Core Learning Outcomes Review (*3) and their Learning Summary (*5). Expanded Instructions HERE. 

(*5).Learning Summary:  For Degree Program. Structured Learning Review of the student’s journey and resources of the entire College of Capturing Courage Course Modules 1-3.  It includes Self Reflection, Peer Comments, and Facilitator Discussion regarding outcomes.  1500-2000 words.  Questions-based format. How to Study the Course and Submit all Reviews at the right time. 

  • Begin with Module ONE, Month One, Chapter One. 
  • Read the content of the chapter. 
  • Do the Application Exercise of each chapter. 
  • Look up in your Bible, the Summary Scriptures. 
  • Repeat this with each Chapter.
  • At the end of each month there is a quiz to help you check your learning. Do the quiz. 
  • If you are studying towards a degree: In the middle of the Module, submit x3 Progress Review Exercises. (*2). 1 from yourself. 1 about you, from a co-worker or peer student. 1 from your facilitator. 
  • Repeat the reading, application and scriptures through to the end of the Module.
  • Repeat the x3 Progress Review Exercises (*2) and submit to your facilitator. 
  • Submit your Personal Learning Review to your facilitator  (*1)
  • Receive your Certificate of Achievement for the Module. 
  • Repeat this with each Module. Next is Module TWO. Then will be Module THREE. 
  • At the completion of all three Modules, and you have all three Certificates for each Module, submit your Core Learning Outcomes Review and your Facilitator Recommendation (*4) for your Diploma in Transformational Leadership (*3).
  • Once you have received all 3 Certificates (one for each module) and your Diploma (end of course) you can then submit your Learning Summary (*5), then a peer comment and a facilitator comment, for your Bachelor of Professional Studies in Applied Christian Ministry, degree.
